"Love Never Fails" (quote on bottom of figurine)

Today I had to attend two inservices so I chose this Precious Moments figurine to document my day. My sister Teresa gave this to me at the start of my teaching career in 1987. This should be my 23rd year, but since I stayed home for a little while with Trevor and Addie, this will only be my 19th. I still keep in touch with some of the students I taught during my first teaching job!! Teaching is what I was meant to do....it's my purpose...my calling. I know this year will be a good year filled with challenging and rewarding moments.
So true. Cute photo Della.

It is so uplifting to read that you haven't lost your passion for teaching. Your students are so lucky to have a teacher with both enthusiasm and experience. That is a rare combination. I'm sure you will have a great year.
