The Life of a Cat

Meet Butterscotch.....even though he's my cat he pretty much lives across the street at my neighbor's house. He often finds his way to my house early in the morning to meow outside my bedroom window just so I will feed him before I leave for work. I found him relaxing at his favorite spot----atop my neighbor's car. I love his "expression"--regal like. How lucky he is that he can lay around on a Sunday afternoon. My Sundays are always so busy---rushing to church, laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning the house, lesson plans, and usually some last minute grading I didn't finish on Saturday (or that I put off until Sunday night!!). If I could be any animal, I would want to be a cat.....oh the easy carefree life they have.
They always think they have it better elsewhere. I thought that was just with our children :)

Grass is always greener....he is a pretty cat. I guess he thinks he's too much cat for one family! Great shot of Mr. Butterscotch!

I totally agree; If I could be an animal I would definitely be a cat because they seem so content with their (9) lives. Butterscotch is regal indeed.

Hmmmm...sounds like *my* Dill! In 48 hours he's going to have to content himself with his own family again...or find some new friends! On the up side, we've repeted the scenario for quite a few summers now...he always remembers us when we return...
