"For every disciplined effort there is a multiple reward."

Meet my 6th and 7th period...I have them the last 1 1/2 hour of the day. Today they had the last 45 minutes as a free period because they won the challenge I have between my 3 classes. For four weeks I tally points for various reasons--everyone being on time to class, having all their needed supplies, no missing work, etc. The class with the most points at the end of the month receives one free period to play board games and listen to music. The other two classes have to complete an assignment. This class is the first class to win this year. Right when the bell was about to ring for them to leave for the day, I remembered I wanted to take a picture. I told them about the project and to quickly group around some of the desks. I think the picture turned out pretty well for a hurried shot! :) They are a really fun class! :)
It does look like a neat group of students. Nothing like a healthy way to motivate some good character qualities.

Re: shopping carts...that's what I call a desperate shot - as in I have no photo for today and no ideas...oh, look, that will do"
