I am thankful for.....Ordinary Days

ABC Thankful Challenge

An ordinary day for me is a day of teaching, grading papers, household chores, helping with homework, and many nights attending my kids' activities. I know these "ordinary" days won't last forever so I try to enjoy and appreciate each moment while I can....

***with the time change, it gets dark sooo early that I dont have much time to take pictures outside---today I snapped a few of the leaves in my front yard as soon as I got home----not sure I like it, but I guess an ordinary picture can represent my ordinary day!!***
They are nice, and we need to enjoy them when we have them.

I picked up some leaves also walking with Lil' Aaron, just haven't had time to post them yet!!! We think alike:)

Well you certainly made my ordinary day extraordinary! Thanks for your sweet note! I’ve missed all of the photos – I have looked in from time to time – always check yours! I am getting a lot of things done…a lot more to do. Our friends have always called us Santa and Mrs. Claus – we are both making gifts – some as a joint project. We have a dollhouse ready to assemble – not a kit – from a plan I found on the internet. Jim is creating a white oak table for our oldest daughter.
I’ll keep checking in and hope to be back posting when I can comment too. Thanks for your note…I see we had a similar idea – I’ve been doing the ’12 Days of Thanksgiving” on my blog! I’m thankful for friends – on 365!

"Ordinary days" are often much better than the unordinary :) I like white flowers against the brown leaves. As Mark said - old and new.

Thanks for reminding us how lucky we are to have the kind of ordinary days we have. I'm sure in many parts of the world our "ordinary" days would be considered quite extraordinary indeed.

Nice simple shot. You need an assistant.

It's beautiful, such wonderful, earthy colors. Ordinary is other word for spectacular, to my way of thinking. I thank God always that I'm ordinary and not extraordinary like Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Madonna, and all the rest, whereever they function.

I'm right there with you on ordinary days ~ Although what we think of as an ordinary day, others might see as spectacular.
After all, life is in the eye of the beholder, is it not? ;) A simply beautiful picture BTW!!
