This is the cotton gin that is a few blocks from my house. When I drive by every day I can see the cotton being ginned...this is the backside of the gin....

Love this shot...brought back memories. We used to go to Elgin, TX for dinner at a BBQ place there. There were lots of cotton fields all around and a large cotton gin next door. Great shot!

This reminds me of the drive to see my family in South Carolina. In North and South Carolina we see several cotton gin/ mills. Sometimes with the huge bales of cotton piled up around the mill.
I just saw several cotton fields in Virginia last week.
