278 Hands

A detail from Lysippus' "Boxer at rest" (IV Century b.C.), visible at Palazzo Massimo, Rome.
This bronze gentleman reminds me the verses from Simon & Garfunkel's song "The Boxer": "...in the clearing stands a boxer // and a fighter by his trade..." so, also for the song title challenge.
Far better on black, if you have the time.
That is so cool. I was wondering what song it represented. Never thought of that one :)

Splendid! I've worn out my CD of the iconic 'Bridge over Troubled Water'...and worse no longer available. 'The Boxer' was one of my favourite tracks. Delighted to make the acquaintance of 'Boxer at rest'. Thank you for memory.
