In other worlds

Mystery is not about traveling to new places but about looking with new eyes (M. Proust)
A little faffing with PS infrared filter for the 5+2 theme of the week "Travel".
Recommended on black, if you have the time.
The combination of lines and colors is very very engaging and draws one in. Wonderful faf!

Love, love, love this shot. Right up my alley. You've captured the time/space travel so well I feel like I'm sucked right into the centre of this stunning faff.

What goes through your mind to achieve such an amazing photo?! Mind blowing, completely love this. I am sorry I haven't caught up with your project yet - and I won't tonight :( but I can't wait to. I hope you are well, dear Domenico!

@kerosene Haha, Don't know, really. It all comes out while working on the starting image. I am well, dear Caroline, thank you, I hope you are well too, missing your everyday photos... But your posts for 5+2 are always super!

Quite interesting and pleasing. Though I can't begin to know how you managed this shot. Post processing is not my strength. But I do enjoy what you have done. (Though I can't quite make out what the man in the center is doing.) Fav

Time machine disguised as a latterday spider. Splendid!

@mbrutus Too kind of you, Sir! It's just a copying-flipping-pasting thing. The man in the center it's me taking the picture!
@s4sayer Thank you a lot!

@domenicododaro Oh, that's great. I occasionally wind up taking my own photo, often of me trying to take a photo. The trick of course is to take the picture without always having the camera obscure your face. This, of course, often leads me to some rather unconventional compositions.
