Myrtle production 1

After two years and a half of bureaucratic struggles deserving a separate tale, I have been finally able to complete the authorization procedure to officially produce and commercialize the liquor I prepared just for family (and some friends) over the years. It's made by alcoholic infusion of myrtle berries, and it's a very traditional Sardinian product.
Of course, my own is made my way: I harvest the berries myself, I do prepare the infusion and I did perfect the traditional recipe of infusion time and water and sugar proportions...
So I spent part of yesterday (24 November) preparing the first little batch destined (in part) to the market. How exciting!
Thought to document it for the future generations to know... OK, OK, for backfilling my November calendar...
Can I buy a bottle from you??

@blueberry1222 hahaha. Sure! I fear import in the USA could be a little difficult...

Wonder what it tastes like… Although we have a name for it, I don’t think it grows this far north…
Well done on your endeavour!

@kerosene thank you my friend!
@yrhenwr thanks a lot!
@bankmann it’s quite a Mediterranean bush. It tastes of it, there’s quite nothing comparable!
@jclaireyp thank you very much!
@joysabin thank you very much - I leaned at the end that the bureaucratic process would be the same if I started a 100,000 bottles/year factory!
