Day 281 of 365: Black-throated Green Warbler

2015 October 9: With fall migration at its peak, I am seeing a very nice variety of birds ...a few of which are new to me. This Black-throated Green Warbler is one of them.

This particular warbler is most likely on his way to spend the winter in Central America, but he has stopped to rest in my yard for the past several days; I have very much enjoyed seeing him!

Look at his bright yellow head, and so nice of him to stop on the green leaves to match his colors! (Warbler, I'd like to spend part of the winter in balmy central America as you do... :) )
