Yup!! Lol. This is an awesome shot!!! Such a huge sky and a weee lil person :) LUVIT! We always have a terrible cold winter and this year there has only been ONE snow day!! And it wasn't even from snow, it was because it was so windy out that the roads were glare ice so school buses were cancelled.
@egad@kdimagery We haven't had an authentic snow day yet. The busses get cancelled but the schools are open and my oldest loves school so I always end up taking her. She loves 'snow' days the best because there aer hardly any kids so it's more fun stuff and less work. This kid was probably 8 or 9. I saw her crossing the field as I was walking in with mine. Thanks so much for the fav. I only had my phone and I was quite surprised with how this came out. I really love it too.
Ah! I forgot to fav it!! Lol.
Yah, the schools have never closed here either, just one day of bus cancellations. There were semi trucks and grey hound buses in the ditches all along the highways that day! Very scary and so glad they cancelled buses!!
Really awesome, Edie. Such the story that kids are told about how parents had to walk uphill in the snow (and barefoot, to boot). How they had it so hard. Super candid. Love the negative space! A fav!
@egad Thank you for telling me! I would never have seen it...I'm having one of those months where it's been hard to find time for 365 so I really appreciate it.
That is an awesome shot! All the more fantastic because of what you took it with! I never really had to walk to school in this kind of snow, but for some reason this makes me think of my childhood and the snow we had then. Such a beautiful and emotion filled shot- fav.
i'm thinking that's apocrophal (i have no idea how this is spelled and i am too lazy to look it up ;p)... not something you'd see in Toronto! but it's a pretty cool shot!
Love this too! There has been a lot of the white stuff lately. I just read your profile too and I am doing the same thing relaxing the 365 rules, and if I don't go out and get a pic that day, there are thousands I can choose from last year!
Are you in Southern Ontario?
@newbie It's easier to say then do though isn't it? I find I am pushing harder than I planned. Yes, I am in Southern Ontario. We had no snow last year. It looked like it was going that way this year until February came along. I have a brother in Montreal and one in Ottawa. I'll let you know if/when I make it that way.
