Today I went for an afternoon walk in Rabat, close to the old capital city Imdina. Imdina was the main Roman town which we know extended to the parts that I was walking in. Imdina was reduced to its present confines by the Arabs for better defense. I walked along the older part of Rabat which has a number of narrow alleys full of interesting features.
We now enter into the last week of our journey to Easter Sunday. The photo that I chose to upload shows a similar external devotion that I uploaded earlier. Such banners dress our villages in a somber atmosphere which will be shed on Easter Sunday with the victory flags.
The traditional wooden balcony in the village core was given a boost in recent years and this indigo one looks like one which has been renovated.
I picked on the R in I.N.R.I. which I would have liked to be positioned a little bit further to the left. I also turned the picture slightly to get a horizontal and inclined lines by the windows at the top.
