This Saturday these shoes will find a home with children of need. Each year our community provides for over 900 school children, kindergarten through high school, with all necessities they need to begin the school year. We have a list stating what each grade requires so with a "personal shopper" the youngsters choose their items. In addition to school supplies they choose three colorful shirts and toiletries for both girls and boys before making a stop for popcorn, hot dogs, chips and drinks. ALL of this is provided from donations, fundraisers, and hard working volunteers with a child's heart. It does take a community to raise a child. The blessings we return home with come in many sizes and ethic backgrounds.
