This is where the magic happens...

Yes, folks. I know you were so curious. (Being sarcastic, of course) This is where I upload my pictures and spew forth the (often times) random drivel for my daily postings. Actually, I usually do this from the comfort of my bed. Tonight it's my dining room table.

I'm out of ideas today. Work is kind of kicking my ass lately.

Anyone want to buy me the DSM-5? My bday is next month. I'm an easy kind of gal. Most girls want jewelry, a fancy dinner for the birthday. Me? I want something that I need for my job.

Currently reading: Counter-transference Hate and the Suicidal Patient

Currently listening to: Rave on Sad Songs by Jason Collett

I'm having a hard time leaving work at work today... :(
I probably could find the book in French :-) And of course you are a mac girl :-) Great background photo too

@anzere03 en français? Lol that would kind of be awesome but not very functional for moi. And yes I'm a Mac girl. The background photo on my laptop is from the NYC June meetup when we walked the Brooklyn bridge, in case you were curious.

Sharp photo and neat idea. You seem a bit melancholy tonight my friend. I'll ask around about that DSM-5. Jason Collett to me, sounds like a cross between Cat Stevens and Jim Croce. Hopefully the rest of the week goes well for us all :)

@fauxtography365 very cool shot of New York! Ton français est très bon :)

Nice sky-line on the computer, can't help with the DSM-5 and can't even relate to you reading list ;-)

I love this snap!

@adamj thanks. And yes I think Jason Collett was a little Cat Stevens-like. Surprised you listened to it.

@snaphappy1 I wish I had posted the pic on my laptop for my pic of the day for June 22...

@tonydebont ha most people can't relate to what I read for work because it usually is academic literature about the acutely psychotic.

Jim
Love that city skyline, and sorry to hear you were so stuck in work mode. Hopefully the music and looking through photos took your mind off of it for a little while. Do you ever read anything light and mindless?

@jcarrollphoto thanks again for the visit and comment. Sometimes I try to read mindless and light things from time to time. Sometimes I'm successful lol.

Beautiful shot from the bridge...hard work and heavy reading, make room for laughing. :-)
