These meals are the last of the celebrations for my birthday week. Ms. T is satisfied. On top of that, I've been between upstate New York, Hudson Valley, and New York City this whole week. Not a bad way to start my 37th season.

My girl friend and I were crushing on our waiter last night at Gotham Bar & Grill. He was George Clooney-ish but more handsome (handsomer? is that a word?), if that's even possible. And younger.
I think...he might have been giving us...the 'eye'. Mmmaybe. Just maybe...? Wishful thinking? Lol.
One thing is for certain, though. He gave me and my girl friend a free side dessert dish...which we didn't see him give to other tables he was serving. Said it was complimentary. Maybe he wanted a good tip lol. And we gave him one.
Then today, I had brunch with my lovely sisters. Cantina Corsino in the West Village. GORGEOUS Day in Manhattan.
Life is good. :)
P.S. I don't really like to do collages and I hope this counts as an actual photo for today because it's a mixture of yesterday's AND today's photos...but I HAD to include pics of the glorious food I've eaten. What can I say. I like food porn. I know some of you out there do too. Admit it.
I love the whole birthday week or weekend thing. Sounds and looks amazing. Food coma! Ha! I had a double workout today to make up for my nearly week off.

@adamj Yeah trying to get in some fun before the Fall and cold weather get here. Then I'll be dormant again for awhile. And thankfully my cold is going away! Hope you are having a good weekend too, Adam. :)
@amandal Thanks, Amanda! The food at Gotham Bar & Grill was sooo good. Just really well prepared and beautifully presented. The flavors, the textures...so delicious and so wonderful together! One of the best meals I've had in a long time. I didn't want it to end lol.
@fauxtography365 - I mean how would the chef feel? He/she is working hard in the kitchen and the waiter (even if he does look like a young Clooney) is getting all the tips and winks by handing out the sweets...
I dunno what everyone else thinks, but the items in the lower right corner and the one just left of it are kind of scary. Kind of like utensils are needed less for consumption and more for suppression and vanquishing.
@timerskine ohhhh but if you tasted them, you would think differently! The lower right is the s'mores sundae, the kale salad (didn't photograph well) and to the left was the duck. Which kinda rocked my world. At least last night lol. Other than the waiter, that is.
