I was kind of having a good hair day. Maybe even a great one. But that was totally negated by the fact that I stepped in dog poop in the train station parking lot while running to the platform. First of all, who takes their dog to the train station parking lot for a dump and not bother to scoop it up???
Then when I got on the train I smelled the poop and didn't realize until two stops into the journey that, OH HEY - I'm the asshole with the dog poop on her shoe. So I took out my handi-wipe thingies and started scraping that shit off.
Gag.
SO...after months of being MIA, good-smelling guy on the train decided to board it and sit next to me today. But while I was wiping off the poop and he was putting his brief case on the ledge overhead -- unbeknownst to him -- his keys fell out of one of the brief case compartments and then down the front of my jacket.
He didn't notice it until he sat next to me when I extracted the keys from the front of my clothes and presented it to him.
He was all, "Uhh...how did that get there...?" I'm sure it was weird to see me dig out the keys from the breast of my jacket because he hadn't seen them fall in the first place.
You know that saying, quit while you're ahead?
Well apparently that didn't apply to me today.
After handing him the keys, I said, "Your keys, they fell and so here you go. And I stepped in dog poop. So sorry." And then I kept wiping away. He just nodded and busied himself with his New York Times business section.
The last thing I wanted him thinking is that I normally smell like dog poop so I felt like I had to explain. Already weird enough that I produced his keys from my clothes. Lol.

hahahahaha.....First of all the dog poop should not negate the good hair day because the dog poop was not in your hair! Lol. And of course the interaction with the good-smelling guy is priceless. I like your pic and the processing a lot! I think this weather is perfect for good hair!
Unbelievable chain of events. Btw, from what I've seen here, your hair is always amazing! The poop would have effed me up big time huge...lmao. Good smelling guy sounds like a stiff.
@adamj actually I could imagine that if this scenario had happened to you on your train, you'd be none too pleased. Good-smelling guy may be a stiff. I still want to ask him what cologne he wears but decided today wasn't the day haha.
@fauxtography365 oh I would have called in sick! I feel for you. It's not as if it has never happened to me too. Please let me know what scent this guy wears. I want to be as successful as he is ;)
@adamj lol would you have really called in sick? Also the cologne he wears smells like the original Carolina Herrera 212 for men. If he ever sits next to me again and I have the nerve, I'll ask him and let you know ;)
@adamj I wish I could've gotten off the train to change shoes, even if it made me late. It was gross. The guy didn't seem to mind too much. Maybe it was because my hair was so awesome. Lol wishful thinking.
HaHaHa! Great story. After working on properties where there are dogs, I dread that first whiff and "who stepped in it" on the ride back in the truck... Dammit!!
@baznman ah that first whiff is gross lol. Today when I didn't realize it was me who stepped in it, I remember thinking, "Oh fer fuk's sake who stepped in it???" Ooopsies.
hahaha....that's a great story, love your coolness with the key extraction, can't believe after all that the guy just sat there and read his paper without any further banter wtf ! Nice hair pic too... Salon gloss look going on there !
Bwahhahaa! so glad I read this after i finished my morning coffee or i would be cleaning off my computer screen! And the awesome hair negates the dog poop definitely!
