"Kiss them for me...I may be delayed..."

Song on my iPod on my delayed train ride home:

"Kiss Them for Me" by Siouxsie & the Banshees.

Autumn on the river. Pretty hard to beat. Lovely calm tone and tranquility.

Wow...very nice. I'm noticing a yellow theme...are you doing a weekly color project? Regardless, this is fantastic. The flow of light from the foreground, brighter, brighter into the dark hills is a nice contrast. A little sun over the top never hurts either! :)

I do like how certain songs can be serendipitous at times. Nice.

Beautiful shot, the golden tones really give a nice feel to this shot.

@thomastoth thanks Thomas. The yellow theme of this week has been semi-intentional. The weather and season just has me seeing everything with a golden hue lately.

@bobfoto @snaphappy1 I always appreciate when someone else appreciates the song I reference. It was serendipitous indeed to have that song on the iPod as the train just stood on the tracks for about 10 mins....

@04haze @islandk8 thanks guys! Not too bad for a phone shot. I need to start carrying around my real camera to and from work. Also @04haze I can appreciate Neil Young too.

@fauxtography365 - oh nasty. I once sat on a plane as it sat on the apron for 60 minutes for a 45 minute flight to a location 60 minutes out of town!

@bobfoto that sucks. Once I flew from Chicago to NYC...we were 30 minutes from actually landing but had to wait up in the air because of turbulent weather down below. After an hour of being up there and no eastern seaboard airport to land in because the whole area was hit with inclement weather, the flew us back to Chicago!!! What is usually a 2 hour flight was a 5 hour one and we ended up where we started.

@fauxtography365 - How's this? After taking off 3.5 hours late, we flew 45 minutes to only pull up on landing and the Captain announcing that there was a problem with the plane and he didn't want to deal with the problem here, but it would be better to fix it back in the city, so we then flew 45 minutes back and landed. We were told to hang out nearby and they would fix it. 3 hours later we took off once again for a 45 minute flight and landed.

We landed 8 hours after our scheduled 45 minute flight.

@fauxtography365 - I have spent 3 entire weeks of my life in the domestic terminal of Jackson's (grotty) airport.

I love the depth of this shot. Those distant hills seem mysterious.
