Lancaster Canal in the Sunshine

I am visiting Lucy in Lancaster and took this shot yesterday as we walked by the canal. This was the second day of sunshine before the rain set in once more. Katharine

@bkbinthecity There are some lovely buildings and scenery by the canal. I like the old buildings that have been looked after and converted to another use once their industrial life has ended. Some are now flats and there are a couple of restaurants. Katharine

@rossevs It was certainly beautiful in the sunshine, although it has its attractions in the rain too. I am going to miss my extended stays in Lancaster when Lucy finishes University here. Katharine

@fishers Katharine. I love those old English canals and the narrow boats in it. I`t have made England wealthy in past . And the builders where a great help by develop the rail roads . Ferry
