This is an 'iconic' ghost sign on one of York's buildings. Apparently Bile Beans were a laxative, and became very popular in the UK in the 1930s. Those of you who followed Dad's old project may have seen this before ( http://365project.org/if1/365/2012-10-17 and http://365project.org/if1/365/2012-11-07), but I thought the light on it was just nice today, especially as it was restored last year. I also couldn't help thinking that I certainly won't be feeling healthy or slim after Christmas tomorrow! - Lucy
Thanks Lucy. I should have looked at the links first!
