Good Friday by fishers

Good Friday

The Yarnbombers of Thirsk have been busy again, decorating the town Market Place with their latest creations, based on the theme of voluntary organisations. Some take the form of hoops fixed to trees or buildings, while others are in the form of sleeves that cover some of the bollards which prevent motorists encroaching onto the paved pedestrian areas.

This one, suspended from a tree, seemed appropriate for Good Friday, and recognises the voluntary work that goes on in the parish churches of the area.
