Climbing Frame

Children are not forgotten at Locomotion, Shildon. There is a large play area, which includes this rather impressive climbing frame, which is based on the locomotive 'Rocket' which won the Rainhill Trials before the opening of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1830.

Max would have a buzz experimenting on how he could get hurt on it, even if it is very difficult for children to get hurt. Great way to bring the railway story to the children.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.

Your positive responses to this shot make me wonder if a 365 get together in this play area might be lots of fun!
