Another shot in our front garden, taken during recent wet days, taken from the shelter of our house. This Queen Elizabeth bud got rather saturated, and I had doubts that it would bloom properly, but with a couple of dried days it has now opened.
We have quite a few Queen Elizabeth roses in our garden. They are a strong and attractive rose. I gave a brief history of them to accompany a shot at the beginning of June - http://365project.org/fishers/365/2020-06-06
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
More sun for the last couple of days is bringing a whole new crop of rose buds, so we should have a renewed display of flowers within a few days.
