Gnome

Near the northern end of the 'Fairy Trail by the Foss' is this rather friendly looking gnome, and it looks like he is bearing gifts!

So this is my third shot in this mini series of the trail, and we haven't seen a fairy yet, and for that I apologise - but I couldn't resist including this character.

I don't think I have mentioned the special events organised around the trail. Events like halloween and Christmas had their own activities. This trail has become a significant local feature and has very much helped to build community spirit.
