Beautiful animals and certainly an interesting example of evolution.I've heard that cheetahs run so fast and use up so much energy during a hunt that sometimes, once they bring down the prey, they are too exhausted to eat or defend it and may lose it to opportunistic animals that move in on their kill.

It's so cool to see the domesticated part of a cat and the wild side of the domesticated cat. So much a like and so very different! Fantastic capture of this cheetah and I agree with Gena!!! Hope it's in a reserve!!! FAV!

This was taken from a bus that tours around and you can also walk to see some of the animals. It was lovely to see them in more open environments
