Made the most of the good, dry, but chilly weather today and walked to the top of Pendle Hill, an eight mile circular walk from where I Parked. I really enjoyed the walk. Pendle Hill is located in the east of Lancashire, England, near the towns of Burnley, and Nelson. Its summit is 557 metres (1,827 ft) above mean sea level. It gives its name to the Borough of Pendle. It is part of the Forest of Bowland an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Fantastic shot, I love this! It looks great large and it's a fav!
My other half's dad lives near Pendle Hill and we finally got around to walking up it last August, but the views were not like that when we made it to the top - started off sunny and clear, but clouded over and then rained! It's a great walk though. http://365project.org/roachling/365/2013-08-14
