The Drenthe Heath Sheep (Drents Heideschaap, Dutch) is a domesticated breed of sheep originating in the Netherlands. It is raised primarily for vegetation management.
It is said to be the oldest surviving breed of sheep in Europe.

Ken je de foto's van Saskia Boelsums? Ze maakt de meest fantastische (vaak Drenthes) landschapsfoto's in de stijl van Rembrandt. Ze is nu in het Drents Museum in Assen te zien. Ze heeft ook prachtige foto's met schapen.
