This is the characteristic tower of the St.Nicolaas kerk in the center of Dwingeloo, a beautiful village in the Dutch province of Drenthe.
The characteristic Sint-Nicolaaskerk (church) dates from the 15th century. Saint Nicholas is the patron saint of sailors, merchants, archers, repentant thieves, children, brewers, pawnbrokers and students in various cities and countries around Europe. The tower featured in an earlier pictures.
