The owl and the pussy cat......

....went to sea.
Just as the sun was setting.
I quickly knew that this would be.
A photo shot worth getting :)

You may remember I posted these two on 8th Dec. Well I was at my sister's place after a big champagne day with friends and we spied the bright setting sky. We raced to their decking and look who was also there! I think Chandon (so aptly named) is falling in love with the owl :)

I'm SO GLAD I didn't miss this one! What a fantastic pairing! Years ago, while I was still studying fashion design, a friend and I often made plans to open a shop called "The Owl & the Pussycat"... That was back in the day of, simultaneously, demure dresses with Peter Pan collars as well as the "new acrylic colours" on fabric (think Peter Max!) It never happened, but I never forgot...
