He ain't heavy, he's my brother

Today my sister and I went to visit our brother, who is diagnosed with cancer, and many of you would have met him last year. Today also would have been our mother's 97th birthday. Therefor I was searching for a photo to capture both Allen and mum! So here it is - Allen with an award he has just had presented to him, and with one of his early books with mum on the cover!
Allen was awarded the Horticultural Media Association president's award - only the 4th one given in Australia! This was awarded to him for his long and distinguished service to the association. He managed the 3CR radio show for 15 years and still appears on the ABC radio answering gardening questions. He has also written 15 books and is hoping to finish one last book this year. His positive fighting attitude is to be admired. I certainly love my brother and think of my mother every day :)

@gilbertwood I haven't been shooting much. In fact I just got my camera back today from Canon. The main wheel was not working right. I guess I should try it to see if it is working huh? Still I do poke around some to see what people are up to.
