Reporting for light duties.

This is a Pacific gull which is one of the 6 that have called our beach area home. We have hundreds of common silver gulls, so it's nice to see a different one!
My title relates o the fact that I have to report for jury duty tomorrow so I don't know what the week will bring. I know I can't take my camera :)

It is the pelicans here that do that. I count them as I drive across our bridge every day. Sometimes we get into the teens in numbers! One for every pole plus some couples.
