As many of you know, I live at the end of the Great Ocean Road so the 12 Apostles are not far away! I had to go the Peterborough today so ventured out for some photos as well. I had hoped to stay for a sunset here, but alas the great grey blanket moved in! The sky was amazing all day :)
Beautiful point of view, colour and depth of field Denise, sadly I believe there are only eight remaining, we visited them in 2011 and I think there were nine still standing, limestone is so soft I wonder how long they will remain:)
What a gorgeous, delicate blue sky. I don't know these ocean apostles but my back "yard" is the walkway to the laundry. (At least there's a nice front yard.) Really beautiful lighting here.
@pcoulson There is always discussion on the 12 apostles as to where and which stacks are counted - I've seen one fall in my time here! @deliad yes Delia, they have discovered more under the sea - can't see how they'll ever be stacks above the sea though!!
