The Victoria Line platform at Oxford Circus Underground Station yesterday.
It looks quite empty as we arrived on the platform just as a train had left. Within one minute of this shot, lots of passengers had joined us on the platform and the next train had arrived.
I grew up in London and used to travel by tube every day to school and to work. Nowadays I live in rural Norfolk. I enjoy the occasional excursion to London but I'm glad I no longer have to do this every day in the rush hour.
Love the curves and symmetry leading to the disappearing point in the distance. Inspired to do one underground and you've reminded me I want to see that film!
