'Move over, I'm coming in!'

Mum and Dad Kooka are busy feeding their brood and the nest is getting crowded. I don't know how many they've hatched but one of my photos from yesterday shows a tiny kooka head peeping out from underneath the feathers. Now I know they're hatched, I'll try to get a better one. A lot of zooming is involved; the nest is very high up and far away from my vantage point.
Breathe in, it is a bit of a squeeze isn't it.

A fabulous capture. It often seems as if some adult birds don’t think to allow for growth when they choose a nest site.

The size of that chick! He's immured! ...But I'm sure there's an exit strategy 😅

If Mum and Dad can still get in, the chicks can get out, even if it is a bit squashy :)
