This redecorating lark is really sapping my creativity and inspiration...it's been 9 days now since I last saw the outside world, blood, knives and fire. And the bastard paint brushes are following me in every waking moment.

I'm building myself up to do some of this over the Easter break and I'm beginning to feel a bit like you and I haven't started yet! Great shot. Hope the brushes don't do this to me!

Brilliant! However, as far as we can see you look remarkably free of paint - clearly there is no need for concern! You can have a Fav! for this if it makes you feel any better!

@graemestevens If it's any consolation, the tenants in our 6 year old rental house left suddenly last year just 12 months into a 3 year contract. We were away and the letting agents let them go and refunded all their deposits... the house was wrecked! It took Mrs S and I 2 weeks just to get it clean and I then spent 8 weeks, 6 days a week redecorating the house from top to bottom and replacing all the floorings - I started with filling 586 holes in the walls. And this after giving up a year of my life 6 years previously to build the damn house. It's now in the process of being sold - enough is more than enough!

NINE days!! I'm sure there are crimes that would get you less time than that - sorry I detest wall painting so much ..I used to think I liked it but with many house moves, 4 kids and a budget that only stretches to repainting - no thank you !! The kids ask now if thy can do it please, please they beg and I let them. I'd rather it was a mess they'd done than I ever have to . I used to be so particular too :D
