Not to mention doing a little bit of shameless promotion for an excellent product, I'm also painting the house. I have been for the last week (2 hours after work every night)...I've nearly finished one wall...
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
I really like your processing and the focus on your brush. And the way it all fades into the white borders. Very cool shot. And have fun with that painting.
@bigugly Thanks very much and so far, no. @juliedduncan It's a weatherboard house so it would have to be a small roller and that's even more time consuming...and a sprayer uses more paint and being half Scottish...well...why should I pay for more? Besides which, I find it therapeutic. I haven't had the urge to slaughter anyone all week...maybe @aecasey So do I - it's the longest wall of the house so I thought I'd get it out of the way first... @taffy Thank you very much - the brush is the key and this one, being one of the many that I sell and have in my arsenal, is the best money can buy (or not in my case...) @kwind Thanks very much :)
@graemestevens Curiosity...do you literally make these brushes? Or produce them? Or like them and carry them in a store? Question asked as outdoor stairs need painting...learning about paint/brushes.
I don't envy you with all that painting every few years. Lots of weatherboards in Geelong, but not for this black duck. Great shot though, love the high-key.
@taffy I work for Dulux and sell these (among other things) so I'm just doing a bit of advertising really...the painters that I deal with as a lowly sales rep seem to like them as well... @photographycrazy Thanks very much - the paint better not paint off ;) @juliedduncan Yes, you did..but I like it @gardencat Thanks very much :) @rosiekerr Thank you kindly - three coats is indeed a bugger @golftragic Our place is weatherboard as well but I'm using high quality Dulux product so I should get 10 years...I hope
@nicoleterheide Thanks very much :) @kerosene You could always help with the exterior of mine...practice makes perfect ;) @nanderson Thanks very much :) @juleshoogstraanderson Thank you very much :) @annied Aren't I though - it's high time it was painted though, the neighbours were beginning to think I didn't care. I don't. @jaynspain I find it quite therapeutic... @yaorenliu It happens every now and then...
omg...my son works for them over here...great product and people...do you get freebies?...anyway...like this shot...nice processing as always...must fav... :o) ...i'd say "enjoy your painting"...but nah...nobody really does...
