Oh no...I've totally been behind and didn't realize you'd faced this loss. I'm so so sorry to read this has happened. Dogs bring so much joy to our lives, but as one of our friends described it, "The minute to let a dog enter your life, you have started down the road to heartbreak." But the time in between is to be treasured. My thoughts are with you.
This is terrible Graeme, I'm so sorry. I always feel they deserve many more years - so much more than some human beings I'm afraid... particularly shy, sweet Lucy. I'm sorry you and your family had such a rough, unhappy stretch of days :( and hopefully Wiz is doing ok in all of this, too. xo
