I once again found myself beyond the confines of civilisation, evading the siren call of the Greater Mulleted Redneck to get this shot. Luckily the new camera has a "foldy-outy" screen so I no longer have to bend over or lie prone to get this kind of shot, thus preserving not only my dignity but also the untainted and unblemished virtue of my nether-regions.

Great pov! How do you like your new Olympus camera? I've got an older version and just love it.

Love those leading lines and drama-filled sky! (and I learned a new word "foldy-outy" ♥) Big fav for me.

February 10th, 2018

February 10th, 2018
oh, crap. I forgot to mention that I really like the clouds and the low pov
February 10th, 2018
That high technology is hard to handle some times, better work into to it slowly, it might get contagious. Especially those "foldy-outy" screeens.
February 10th, 2018
Superb shot and interesting to look at... I love the pov and processing!
February 10th, 2018
God forbid those nether regions are endangered

Oh ... a foldy-outy thing ....I need one of those. Oh - wait ....I have one, actually several. Never mind. Back to your image - fabulous as always. Love your processing - kind of your trademark look, hmmm? I can say - I knew him when.
February 10th, 2018
I love and hate this. Lots of love for trains in my life lots of sadness though too, and this picture’s moodiness captures both the call to adventure or the darker call to end it all. Not me though, don’t worry. Just lived a long time around trains

love the pov and the overall drama of the image.. we must, however, have a discussion about all that colour ;p
February 10th, 2018

February 10th, 2018
Haha - wish I had a foldy-pity screen!!! Great image
February 10th, 2018
Like many other people, I too wish I had a "foldy-outy" thingy on my camera. Love this capture with the leading lines and muted colour. :)
February 10th, 2018
Those foldy-outy screens are the best! So's this shot - I like the drab tones.
February 10th, 2018
both a thought provoking and alluring angle on this one - and all without endangering your dignity. The cross by the track is a notice and not a grave marker I hope?) Great results with the processing.
February 10th, 2018
@helenhall It's definitely a sign...a posted speed limit I believe because those train drivers are hooligans behind the wheel...
@juliedduncan Drab tones is how I roll when it comes to colour ;)
@novab Thanks very much - it's been a long time ambition to have a "foldy-outy" thingy
@lyndamcg It wonderful...a thing of beauty even ;)
@hermann Thanks very much :)

Love your processing and pov, very gritty and grainy
February 10th, 2018
Great POV although I feel somewhat cheated that you didn't have to lie down on the railway track to get it!
February 10th, 2018
@fbailey Thanks very much :)
@rjb71 I knew I shouldn't have said anything...
