What is your technique for capturing the wave at it's height. I put mine on rapid repeat and hope one shot is at the height. Before thatmost of my shot were too early or too late - same problem I had playing tennis.
@joansmor It's about the beach as well as the timing. This particular spot has a very deep and sudden "drop off" so a lot of the time, if it's timed right, there's a large volume of water receding rapidly as well as a new break coming in...when they meet you tend to get a very high wave of the combined two...that and, as in this case, about 50 shots! @maggiemae Thank you very much :) @lenanau Thanks very much :)
