Windblown

Today was warm and windy and, frankly, a little weird. The warm temps did not match up with the early Spring landscape so I decided to pull a picture of another warm and windy day. This was taken last summer on vacation in Vermont. We went to the beach on Lake Champlain and the wind was so strong there were whitecaps and waves for the boys to play in. I'm not usually one for selfies but I was trying to capture the beating I was taking from the stiff breeze. Good blustery times on a great vacation. I wouldn't mind a few more warm and windy days like that one...

Like this! I was a resident of Lake Placid for a while and visited Lake Champlain and looked for 'Champy' the local "Lock Ness" monster.

@carolyns Carolyn, we vacationed in North Hero three years in a row and we just loved it. We even went to Lake Placid on a day trip once - it was great! I think the Olympic ice rink was the high point of my husband's life!... They sold our rental house or else we would probably keep going back forever! My kids are still looking for Champ too so I guess we'll have to find a new place! ;)
