A little late but here is my 5th and final Black and White shot. (for the week anyway...) We call this "the fireplace room" - even though it actually has a woodstove. It is definitely "the cozy room" no matter what. Three quarters of the year we sort of disregard it, use it as a pass through. But once the stove is in use, it becomes our absolute favorite and we find all sorts of reasons to stay in it. As with most everything else, I like this shot better in color, but I did like how all the patterns look in black and white.
It was a tough week, looking at things through the lighting rather than the color by trying black and white. I don't think I'm much of a natural at it but it was interesting to try. I will say I am happy to be going back to my easy-peasy iPad uploading after this... :-)
