Not My Finest Work

I consider myself an amateur gardener at best. But this year, I'm not even sure that title applies. Despite my efforts - which I'm pretty sure are the same ones I try to give every year - this is what I've ended up with. Giant orange cucumber balls (?!), minuscule peppers that look like brains and the worlds smallest ears of corn. Don't look for me at the Farmer's Market just yet...... :-)
I think you've done a fine job. Looks pretty tasty to me.

The corn reminds me of my dad's corn one year. My brother saved it and we would drag it out and tease my dad every so often for years. Thanks for that happy stroll down memory lane. My advice: hide that ear of corn.

$200 in tools, mulch, seeds and water +
3 months of back breaking labor...
For this...

How does one explain that they'll go out eagerly and do it all again next year!

I think this is where they write:
The Laugh : PRICELESS!

Haha--loved your photo and comments but sorry about your garden! We have never caught on to growing veggies in our hot, humid climate. Thought things were better up North....
