Walking home across the rec after Will's cricket match this evening, the sinking sun was casting long shadows. This intense gaze he's giving me roughly translates as "Mum, will you stop with the infernal photo-taking? It's just a SHADOW for heaven's sake!"
I'm amazed that some folks still have their cameras intact! If the young people rebelled there'd be trouble!! Great picture... but don't you feel just a wee pang of sympathy with the models - especially when they've been playing a hard game of cricket? Great picture though.
Oh, Helen, I think I have neglected you the last few days...but not on purpose. I am still playing catch -up!
In a couple years, if your son is anything like my 2 were, it will get even harder to take a photo of him...(but maybe you will get lucky and he will jsut get used to it! )
Oh Will looks so nonchalant, but not really annoyed (does he ever?). If this was Beth she'd have turned away just as I took the photo on purpose with eyes rolling.....like his cricket kit, how many bottles of Vanish do you get through???Oh cool shadow shot also!

Your observation about my husband is correct - he's 6ft 10" tall. It means that he has to stoop when walking through a normal-sized door.
