Attack Of The Zombie Scarecrows

In the fields near us, there was a scarecrow-making competition for children over the weekend. I don't know about the crows, but they scare the living daylights out of me - and I'm sure they're giving serious heebie-jeebies to anyone who's driving past. I've inverted the colours to get rid of any wholesome looking sunshine and buttercups - doing my bit for the Eerie theme!
This is great Helen! The village I drive through to work is building up to their scarecrow week...you see some reallly great ones. I hope to get a few 'drive by' shots!!

Very different and very creative with the processing and the idea. I have to say I love the humour in this.

Hey this is such a good idea!! Zombie scarecrows, of course, has this been on Dr Who I wonder, if not why not!! And 'scarecrow week', now I like the sound of that! Did you see my scarecrow?

This is great! What a fun thing - a scarecrow contest of all things! I love the way you have treated it. Very creative.

And thanks for the information on your boat! I now have a vacation to plan for in the future. Rent a narrow boat and go play! Sounds delightful! Your boat is very large and I can only imagine how comfortable it is and probably not too much rocking motion! Maybe I will come visit!! I would love to see it!

Well, you sure did a good job of making this an eerie shot...and of course the kids helped by creating eerie scarecrows! How nice the timing worked out on the scarecrow building!
