1000 year old olive trees in Singapore!

In the same area as yesterdays dahlia display in the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, there are a large number of thousand year old olive trees. It is an extraordinary thing to find in these remarkable gardens, especially when you consider the gardens have yet to be open for 6 years.
Great shot, these gardens are amazing, I imagine they were nervous transplanting a 1000 yo tree!

They are amazing gardens. I guess the huge tree shapes are completely covered in vegetation by now. Did you see the light show at the gardens?
