As we did last year, the OH & I have spent New Year's Eve playing with the drip rig. It's so hard to pick just one to post, but I can't spend all night editing and the OH liked this one best.
Thanks to everyone who has viewed, commented or otherwise endured my shots in 2013. It's very much appreciated.
Hope everyone has a happy & prosperous 2014.
For anyone interested, here's last year's:

A picture-a-day rather than a photo-a-day project, which probably came to a close...
@abirkill I'm not planning to, but then I said that this time last year too...
I've found this year hard going - but Millbrook might be so photogenic that I can't resist. ;) Happy New Year. :)
Fantastic.... did you make your own drip rig? If so any tips? I have been trying for one of these collision shots for so long! An absolute fav and congratulations on completing another year =)
I've not seen one of your amazing water/milk shots in ages, but this more than makes up for it.......incredible!!! Happy New Year.....I hope you come back.....Mick needs someone keeping him on his toes, and I can't do that alone ;-) Happy New Year!!!! :-)
How!!! That is stunning, and I'm pretty sure I remember seeing the other one on the popular page and being blown away.....No wonder. Totally loved following you, fun and I never know what's coming next. From IR to long water exposures... I could go on.. fav and have a great new year :)
How very, very lovely! I really hope you'll stay! I'll struggle this year (after three years it all seems repetitive) but it will be an exciting one and I want to capture some moments of it at least.
Another fab shot, well done on year two, I know it wasn't easy for you at times but I'm so glad you kept going, your images do genuinely give me enormous pleasure so from an entirely selfish point of view please keep posting. Also thanks for being so supportive with your comments on the few shots I've managed to post.....they were supportive weren't they? ;) @allisonraposa Ha! A chink in the armour! :))
That's brilliant... I can't begin to work it out I just love it! Well done on your 731 (from someone else who loved that number!) and wishing you all the best in 2014 :)
Brilliant as always. I lack the drip rig, and have been trying unsuccessfully for almost 2 years now. Timing is everything. Great shot, fav. Happy New Year.
Wow this is fabulous! It looks like an elephant ear plant and several other things! I hope you come back this year, at least sometimes! I love your sense of humor and abilities!
hey HH - i've been wondering about you as well... i do hope you'll keep hanging out here... wouldn't be the same without Humphrey and the storm troopers to liven things up every once in a while - never mind some of the other glorious photos you've pulled out of a hat on a regular basis
I wish I could discuss with you something I read that perfectly described an issue I am having with ducks, time-sucks, improvement, and motivations. I'm the sunsets to the ducks.
Was just thinking I hadn't seen anything from you lately ( have you noticed you sometimes don't see someone who is posting on your feeds?) went to following list, clicked on Mick because I hadn't seen anything form him either and there you were! first comment on his post op knee shot! This is an awesome shot, the sidelines even looks like little blood vessels off the heart. Faved. Hope to see you back posting.
I've found this year hard going - but Millbrook might be so photogenic that I can't resist. ;) Happy New Year. :)
Awesome shot and of course a fav!
Happy new year!
@allisonraposa Ha! A chink in the armour! :))
