don't know which half

Talk about ideas that didn't quite work!
This is for the album cover challenge.

The wiki band name is: Operation Bumblebee
The Random Quote is: "Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don't know which half."

This set me thinking about an old song (whose name eludes me) whose lyrics went something like, "my heart keeps breaking and I don't know which half to keep".
The 'heart' is a foam sponge - which went everywhere when I tried to cut it into shape.
Bit morbid, but there you go. ;)

Have a good weekend!

Wow - really awesome idea. I'd buy that album :-)
Love the effect of the hands coming through the texture.

Cool. Even the hands have the shape of the heart. Strange that many different cultures far apart see the heart as a person's essence. Here also.

@kwiksilver Fortunately, I remembered to put my big water drip tray underneath before I started. ;)

Absolutely a winner - that is amazing work, even if the sponge did get messy. I love the processing work you do, I'm envious :)

Ooo this is cool - I was just wondering what you used for a heart and then read it! I did a really similar shot on herelast August but with a bauble decoration. I like the liquid you have on the hands in this. Nice touch!
