I met my hubby at a plant sale 40 miles away this morning - we drove separately because we both had different plans for the day. It was wet and windy, but after my hubby left with my new plants, I walked back to take one more look, and saw these lovely tulips. The sweet man whose booth they were at, invited me to his nursery to take pics and I will certainly take him up on it. I loved these and the flowers were huge.
Thank you so much my friends, for putting my tulips on the PP - so pleased.
Not only is it gorgeous (of course!), but when viewed large, the narrow white border and the black background give it that already framed look. It truly deserves a frame, Jan. I'm still waiting for some blooms here -- planning to take my six best shots and have them canavs mounted for my new bedroom.
It would be an amazing shot (just the way it appears enlarged) for breast cancer research if you wanted to donate a silent auction item.
@carolb - thanks Carol and wonderful idea about the breast cancer fundraiser! We do a fair bit here for cancer research fundraising (I have been on our local Relay for Life committee seven of the 11 years it's been in our community). Lovely idea about the canvas, too. I love flowers - they are such a gift, and bring joy - even when it's raining! :-)
