Pastoral Scene in Shadow of Rainier.

Well I cheated a bit and took this last night - but work was crazy, my hubby got home from a five day visit to his parents in NC, and my camera only got to shoot some grosbeaks thru the window in raw mode (first time using and not good enough to share). I took this at the same time as the one I posted last night. Mt Rainier in the background peeking through the clouds. I liked this pastoral scene.

It is a great scene and I agree it is great in B&W. Like you I only switched my cameral into raw mode for the first time last week and wasn't really sure what I was doing when it came to processing but I'd I'd say persevere because it definitely is!
