New Years Star

A quiet start to the new year -- being a little under the weather, I stayed in and thus missed my annual New Year's day walk on the beach.

At the outset of Year 3 of 365project I am going to try some more challenging things this year. To start, January is going to be a black and white month -- all shots in b&w so I can explore tone and contrast more. Wish me luck.
You sure made a good start with this shot - love the tones here and the focus is terrific. Fav
