Now we are a bit up the mountain. You can see the mist lake, through which we just drove. It spreads out over the entire valley. The village down is Windischgarsten. The mist nests in dawn between the houses and hills.
We did well to get up so early. Thus we have the whole day ahead of us. Moreover the awakening sun gives us beautiful moments. I love this time of day in the mountains. I hope you too.
Really nice..like the effect of the fog.... I did not reply last text. I download one of the app you said.. the lightroom...nice one for ipad and process photos.. I have also photoshop... I think I need to go deeply into it and see all the possibilities... thanks for the advice!

Dear Martina, the photo was taken shortly before 5 a.m. You should at least get up at three o'clock, so you can go away at half past three by car (would be better a little earlier - we need a good hour for travel time by car). However, you should on the day before prepared everything readily accessible (backpack, clothes, shoes, outdoor navi, walking sticks, camera,...).
@jerome, I really admire your efforts, but I think it is worth it, photos are fantastic!!! I have hard time getting up at six, to go for a walk by calm sea, but that is mostly because I cant fall asleep in the evening, I guess you don't have that problem in mountains...

Thank you for your nice comment! No, I had no big problem with getting up early - I'm an early riser. When you get up rather later, then it does not matter - I will gladly take you with my pictures with the hiking trip... :)
calm sea... how nice! In Croatia you live... not far away from Austria... I live in a country which is not bordering the sea. So the sea has a special meaning for me. I love the sea - its colors, its voices, its scents, its breathing...
@jerome, Croatia is very close to Austria, used to go to shopping there, before (IKEA, etc), We go there in winter, for skiing when we can, in the mountains. But summers are for the Sea...
Croatian coast is not that far any more with new roads...
So I have opportunity to enjoy my summer this year, and I will take as many photos as I can to share them, and keep them for the rest of the year...
And I will enjoy your mountains and other great photos!
