A Blue Tit busy preparing a Bat box nursery.
I first heard the tapping a few days ago as the nest was being built. No camera of course and each time I've been back WITH camera, no action, until today.

@rontu@milaniet@fishers@casablanca I've been photographing this bat box and Blue Tit for what seems like months with different cameras, but I think they've finally finished. Don't know if it'll be a success, it WILL be safe, the local Magpies can't get in but not sure if the chicks will be able to get out. Time will tell. j
@rontu@milaniet@fishers@casablanca after a month of hard work, they seem to have abandoned the bat box. We’ve watched carefully but there has been no sign of activity since early April
